M.Sarlis 

M.Sarlis was born on 1880 in Andadola village , ambalangoda .

He started painting at the maligakanda viharaya

He also used his creative skills.

Then he , painted in several temple as some of them, Ashokaramaya,Pothupitiya Purwaramaya, Iduruwa yalegama Viharaya,Esipathanaramaya,Varakagoda Viharaya

He has created paintings mainly using" බුදුසිරිත". As some of paintings, Birth of Sidhartha Kumara, Enlightenment, leaving the laity, naming ceremony, Sivali maha thero.
